nintendoDS Lite. (Damn!)
This Just In...Nintendo announces the nintendoDS Lite. Which is both a "Hot Damn!" and a "Damn!" to me. To those ignorant to the fact, I own a DS Nintendo Console. I'm excited yet, frustrated.

In my opinion, i find the nintendoDS Lite is a sleek new machine. Reports say that it's thinner, lighter and comes with Brightness Controls. There is a doubt of whether it's too thin to hold a slot for Game Boy Advance Cartridges, which will be a huge loss if they don't include one. It costs more too, apparently, with price announcements in Japan, slating a release for March 2nd.
If they DO drop the slot, then, Hell YES, I'm holding on to my DS. This, I feel is unlikely.
This has been a dull week. You may notice my tagbox is now missing. I had to remove it since it wasn't showing up.
Perhaps we were not the only school to not have a Half-day off for the Festive Weekend, but I still find it's stupid to hold celebrations DURING Chinese New Year.

Do you Drink "Dragostea"?
I found out why "Dragostea Din Tei" got so Popular. It's Really Addictive! This has gotta be the Most Addictive "Sing-a-long-if-you-know-the-lyrics" Song I've heard. I cannot get it out of my mind, much less stopping me from actually singing it. Like all foreign songs I have, I went to find the true translation for this song. It's really Meaningful, though strange. The Title translates to "Love from the Linden Trees".
For those of you who don't know, or have been listening to the Parodied Versions (which I know are crap), "Dragostea Din Tei" is a Romanian Song. It's Lyrics are Romanian. So You're Not Hearing any English or thought you were, anyway.
"Dragonstea Din Tei" must not be misheard as "Dragos Sunny Day". Yeah.

Whoopie. I Have the Flu...
Now I lost my pronunciation of words with "T". So you'll be hearing me say "I hade having deh floo."
It's a mild case. I believe it'll tide over in a few. What worries me is that I think everyone's got it. There's a bug going around.
I know of 8 people, friends and strangers, having similar symptoms. So as a Public Service Announcement, "Go see Your Doctor the moment you feel Flu-ish".
I'm Out. My Nose is clogged again.

How Insulting.
Post-Flag-Raising Ceremony. English Head of Department. Speech.
Rough Quote: "Don't Read...the Sports Section of the New Paper or even Blogs. They are Full of Spelling and Grammatical Errors."
ZAP!
How Insulting. When I do my Blog, I give a damn to check for spelling errors and such, in-built Oxford Dictionary at the Ready. I don't tok like dis and I dun rite like dat, unless I really want to.
I have Standards for the things that I do. Even My SMSes are written in full. Sheesh!

Meh.
I can't think of a title.
I'm rather disappointed on my Friday Weekly Report. They coulda done a better job. Seriously.
The most important part of the interview, including topics of my Sonic Fanatics and the story behind Hopeless Optimism, never made it to the report. WHY?? The Images of my works (2 hOP strips) were very small. I could read it, probably due to the fact that i can read very fine print. But the media masses probably couldn't.
On my side of the blame, I shouldn't have looked like crap during the photo shoot. That's my fault. I Smile Bad and it's rather difficult for me to look neutral for this shot of publicity.
There's another thing I'm fearing of which I will not raise up, but I'm hoping that won't be true.
I've poured out my feelings over this issue and I hope never to bring it up again. It's not that I'm complaining. I mean, it's not everyday one gets to be on the papers, but I'm just so damn unsatisfied.
Meanwhile, my hOP FAQs page is up. Basically to fill in on whatever the report missed. Feel Free to email me through the link from the previous entry and ask me a question!
Hopeless Optimised. #21 & #22

Climax Climate.
It's been raining as I've been nagging about it here all week. In a Surprising Twist, it didn't leak a drop today. Instead, it Burned Brilliant Sunshine the whole of this morning. Coincidence, or the Fact that it's Friday the 13th?
Voodoo Logic!
That's all I got. Sorry.
For those of you expecting "Hopeless Optimism" Number 21, I plan to do it soon, yes?
Wait a Wee bit More.

Front Page News.

Publicity abound! I have appeared on the front page of Teen Tabloid, 星期五周报 (Friday Weekly), after another interview I told no one about. I should have. Damn. Well, I only expected this to be out tomorrow, reasoning with the fact that it is "Friday Weekly", until my Chinese Teacher somehow got 2 copies of it. I did hear that the school got complimentary copies, of which I'm not sure as of yet.
Contrary to my previous newspaper appearance, this one was on a more personal side. I'm hitting myself inside because the photos turned out rather bad. I can't Smile, dammit! I'm also rather unsatisfied that not all of the interview made it to the report. Where's the Sonic Fanatics?! There is so much more that didn't appear in print! Gahhh!!!
Full Report Here, if You're lucky enough to have a Command of Mandarin and can read it.
By the way, Yes, it's still raining as it has been for 7 days now. Is our World gonna end with this Sudden Climate Change?

It's Raining Again...
We're Having some Chronic Rains over here. Rainy Monsoon Days as it is for over 4 days now. I see no end as of yet.
Plan NOTHING Outdoor-sy, folks.
Intel + iMac = In Mac.
Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, has unleashed his fury over at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco, featuring the usual Apple Market Stats (improvements and sharp rises there...) along with Great new products, including The FM tuner/Remote Jack for the iPod 5G (eat that Creative.), iLife '06 (with the new iWeb), iWork '06 and also released Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.4.
The Best Ensued. Steve Jobs then introduced the iMac with the new Intel Core™ Duo Processor, said to be twice, if not, almost thrice as fast than the iMac G5. but It's the same old features and look, just faster. I'm Impressed, although awaiting to see what more Apple can do with Intel. PCs, watch out.
Be Duly Impressed. See the Macworld 2006 Keynote Address. (Requires Quicktime, you PC mortals.)

Victim of Blogorrhoea.
Well Folks, I do hope you like the blog I took time off to redesign. Is Simple, No?
I took a spin on the Dictionary, finding words that begin with "log" so here we are. It's very fitting, although Speak Much I don't on blog.
I hope you guys like the title-head as well. If you need an explanation, feel free to ask.

Change is Good.
You're probably seeing the new Background Blog design. Totally popped outta my head. No Thinking Required. If you can read it, then it's fine.
On your way in, you coulda seen the new, more minimalist navigation to the site. The Music's gone too. I thought the loading was a bit though, even on my broadband connection. I now have the space to add stuff on the front page. Like J.D's cleaning the page up after reconstruction. =) That's about it for the changes and updates. I'm done for now.
If you're not seeing anything new, refresh everything on this site or clear the damn cache.

It's My First Day.
A New School Term Begins. Just Name Me something else more depressing that tugs you at 0545hrs in the morning. I Dares Ya.
School's New Block Repainted to a Strange Orange and the interior's done in Amy's pink. Did I mention Pink's my favourite colour? The Paint Job's similar to those of "The Sims", or even "The Sims 2". That Light Pink, Darker Pink Wallpaper.
Rants Abound, stating that "This Year's a Very Important Year". I believe We All know that and those who deny this can just go to Hell. Wahaha.
Great Injustice will be done to Creator Nick Park and his Crew of "Claymators" from those who say that "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" is not worth watching or happens to be a waste of time. There, I Said It. I'ma gonna catch that next Monday. Although I wished that that Madagascar X'mas Mini Movie thing would not be associated with that Movie. Will "W&G:TCTWR" be Oscar-worthy?
I Saw the Later-half of "Zero Hour", a Documentary on the Discovery Channel. That Episode's about the 1995 Sarin Attacks in Japan. I was shocked and appalled. Read the linked Wikipedia Page. You'll probably see why. 'nuff said.

It Begins...
Great. School Starts tomorrow. As with the Matrix Philosophy, "Everything that Has a Beginning has an End."
*Sigh* This Marks the End of my Holiday Project as Hopeless Optimism has been put on Hiatus.
Misery. No more Late Nights, not much Free Time.

Happy 2006! *hic*
So here I am typing this in semi-darkness, 11 minutes after midnight at GMT +0800.
I'm rather enjoying my first bottle of Hooch. I feel Happy.
The Countdown I did was with my Nintendo DS, since the alarm comes with a displayed Timer.
Gosh, I'm starting to Feel warm. ooh....
That's all now. Gotta Sleep.
