Pixel Power!

8-bit Pixel Games. Retro and Worthless by today's standards of 128-bit gaming.
I don't call games like PixelJam's Gamma Bros. Worthless. The Game is Simple, Cool and Cool. Think Galaxian and Asteriods Joined Together, adding the Power-ups from Arkanoid. It's a Outer Space Shooter, but in full Pixel Glory, and it's Free. Yes. Go, download it. It's a total Recommendation.
I'm gonna keep watching PixelJam.com. It's gonna be like the next big thing.

Cool Shades.
count="day" :6509 user_mood="Deperessa-awesome"School is inevitable. Sigh. This week made me feel like some prisoner on a week's Parole. Now the man demands me back in the slamma'. This whole month has been adequately fun. I did most of what I wanted to do was fun:
- Redid webpages.
- Got a hell lot of strips done.
- Drew a Sonic piece
- Celebrated Sonic
- Bought my books during my first-half-of-the-year routine shopping spree.
- Got out of the House.
- Overwhelming the DS with gameplay. (Mario!)
- Watched a minimum of one movie (Managed 2: Silent Hill and Scary Movie 4)
- More Gaming on the DS. (Ouendan!)
- Slept Late (Something which I no longer have the liberty to do...)
That's a good list. It's not that bad if you think about it.
Well, the Site turned 2 overnight. I think next year I'll celebrate the day I bought the domain which was to be the damnedest day of the year. 06/06/06. Yeah... aww..
Like my new Frame? Okay, they're not shades, just Visual Advisors, or "spectacles" as you laymans call it.

Here comes Miserability!
count="day" :6508 user_mood="Challenged"I know it's not a word. but it makes enough sense to be used. This is the last Saturday before the Prison...I mean, School reopens. Then we all know it's crunch time. Stupid education system... The following weeks will be like Boot Camp. Eyes open at 0550hrs on weekdays and 0800hrs for weekends (tuition and church). I'll rarely wake up late again. That's my miserablity.
On a lighter, less depressing note, I got a taste of Elite Beat Agents. The Japanese-only Import release of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! It's the same brilliant tapping-to-the-beat concept, except it's all in Japanese...which is good! English makes things worse (Look at what they did to SonicX and Naruto).
New Visors tomorrow. Damn, I need help. So Depressing...
Ouennnnndaannnnn!!! ("o"!)

15th Anniversary Sonikku!!

Yes! It's 15 Years since the First Sonic Game ever existed!! "Sonic the Hedgehog" was churned out for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive 15 years ago today. So from a Pixelated Patch of blue to a 3D Vector Sonic to a sleek Furry Next-gen Character. Hey, I still like the platformers of Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush. I keep dying in 3D surroundings. After 15 Years, we now have 29 Characters introduced to the masses. After 15 Years, Eggman still can't rule the world. After 15 Years, Sonic's still running...as Blue as ever.
Yeah, a new Sonic Sketchie! It's been a while...
Back to School?! Oh Noes!!

Purely for fun.
UpdateI made much Upgrades to the site. For one, unless stagnant without refreshing, the Frontpage is new. It's a photoshop of hOP on my tablet, with Gwen sitting on my Sony Ericsson. The New Logo and Tagline, "Purely for Fun", takes over the previous logo and the redundantly long tagline excuse for an abbreviation of Puff-x. My bored-one-day doodle project, "Happy Rock" (left) makes an appearance on the frontpage as well.
Enjoy! Thanks for the support of "last two years"!

"Burn Her!"
-757999.jpg)
Watched Silent Hill, as mentioned. It was scary, but not disturbingly scary. I was expecting more popcorn-tossing heart jumps. Strange monsters in a strange town with strange people. My advise? You have to play the game, or at least know what it's all about before watching Silent Hill, otherwise, you might only feel that the movie is missing something. If you watched the movie and felt empty without playing the game, then get the game (Silent Hill One) and draw your curtains, turn off the lights and play it in the dark. Remember the Music...
My Review is here.

Keeping Silent.
Watching "Silent Hill" Tonight. They say it's a "great adaptation of the game". But None of us completed any of the games from the Heart-poundingly Thrilling Konami series, which is good in a way that nothing gets spoiled. I only have the Trailer at hand. Strange Town, Missing Daughter and Sinister Plot. This movie has NC16 Gore, so that's not as bad as M18 Gore, right? Screw it, I'll watch it with my eyes open. I might do a review, depending if I wanna remember the horrors or not.
I'm 6500 days old, a measurement of life that no one really cares about. Hey, one life, baby. So I slapped on a Mood thingy at the head of my posts, just like the old days. Notice it says, "Awkward". Why? Well, Battousai, Gameaxis Warlord, chanced upon my rant yesterday...and er... just see it for yourself. Agree this with me, my points are true. I'm not trying to score points or anything.
GameAxis (yes, them again) has a report of a report of Fake, bootleggy DS "Cardridges" from China. Nothing New, just that it's a new wave of piracy. I can do a better Fake DS Label, not like these "chachat" plastic squares. Horrid.

Some Things in Life are Free...
Day6499...but that doesn't make it good. It was a sooner or later thing...
Gameaxis Unwired has finally went away from the Freebie Arena to play with the Big Boys (Just found out, Just got a copy). It costs cinco dólares, muchachos, Five Dollars and it justifies everything. I know, because I had it for a year's subs till February this year.
GaX used to be a free mag and scoring one at an arcade or selected game shops was a tough find. I mean, which gamer doesn't want a quality game mag for free? Avoiding that hassle, I got a year's subscription for $28 in 2005. Sounds silly, paying for a subscription to a free magazine instead of getting off one's lazy butt to go GaX-hunting. Well worth it, because you know you are kinda helping to fuel the publication. That was until they Jacked-up the price to $48 a year. My subscription ended and I wouldn't be in the right mind to continue with it. So I went back in the dwelling of a GaX-hunter. I missed the May issue (Dang).
Ironic, since GaX put a hoax price of 950yen on the April issue and now it has come true.
So Here are the Justifications of paying 5 bucks:
You won't feel leeched if you pay $48 for a year's subscription now, because it's $60 for a year of news-stand visits.
You're paying for a thicker (3 free issues thickness = 1 $5 issue's thickness) magazine with more content.
You're gonna want to keep your magazines well because it doesn't feel recycled, as if 8 strangers have read it and then put it back.
(and now) You really know that you are really helping to fuel the publication.
Look at other Gaming Mags, they cost around there, even more. If you want free, go to gamespot.com. 'nuff said. I've been anticipating this for long time. Mind the saucy cover, it's a great Mag,

Definitely Stupendous.

That makes it 7. Got me "New Super Mario Bros." and "Brain Age". Don't tell my mom we have Brain Age! It's her Present tomorrow. Keep it Down!
Just like I predicted. I cancelled after half time during yesterday's Kickoff Footy Match. Germany Wins 4-2.
I wonder how England will fair tonight against Paraguay. I'm guessing 3-1*.
*Caution: Prediction is not a Sure Win, because I don't give a Damn. Gamble if you want.

Ole! Ole! Ole...yeah, whatever.
Day6493I'm gearing up to take myself to the limits just to watch the Kickoff match of the FIFA World Cup. I barely know how to tell an offside, but who cares?! I'm guessing I'll probably turn in during half time, but I'm not very optimistic of that. I'm actually more interested in the power-packed features that Starhub has in store. 4 channels just for total coverage of the match in session. That's worth $15.95, no?
I'm suddenly beginning to play Advanced Wars on the GBA and that's a really cool, easy-to-handle, turn-based, real-time strategy game. I might even consider doing what Douglas did and get myself Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Looks like I've grossly underestimated another game...Screw it.

Still Alive.
End of the World, my Foot.
Can you believe some people bet that the world ends today?
I mean, if they win, what are they gonna do with the money?

Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia. Oh, my!
"We Salute You! Our Half-inflated Dark Lord!"
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." - Rev 13:18
Boo.
The Day draws nigh. I don't know what the Hell (no pun intended) will happen if the World does end tomorrow. But there was a 6th of June in 1906 and 1806 and so on...Why would the world end now? Couldn't it also happen then? I know, we know. These are the End Times, but it's a bit too soon. Not that I'm complaining, I mean this world is already thrashed and bruised bad enough.
If the world does end, doesn't that mean Sydney would be among the first few cities to go? I mean, we don't all "06 June '06" altogether right? Then no one will get to see the Remake of "The Omen" either, which opens tomorrow worldwide. There's a town called Hell too. In Michigan, and they're holding "Hell's Once in a Lifetime Party" and are giving out "Special '6-6-6' T-shirts" with Certificates of Authenticity. That's so Cool...
I see a lot of things. Today I saw a guy driving a truck full of LPG and he was smoking while driving them canisters of flammable materials. Wow. Truck Bomb Son of a Gun.

Hairborne.

Naw, My ratings got changed, beat some guy. I'm now in the Advanced Level 1 List and I can't find myself on the list anymore. It's on like page 300 or something.
Got my hair cut. There goes the Forest. So I got my hair cut, then I heard some birds on some tree. Pretty Normal. Then there's this cat lying on the tree, looking up and... er... yeah make up your own story from there.
So our FIFA Cable channels are up. The damn online sign up thing was a fraud. Booo...
Lost my hair, lost my vibes. Can't write. Hehheh. I think I'll go do Dan's comic bidding now...
