E.T., iPhone Home.
Existence: 6723 days Feeling NiceWeeks ago, Steve Jobs showed something that might change the world of phones, music players and phones with music players for now. The iPhone. I was impressed, but not "I'll murder for it" impressed. Sure, it's an all-in one, but I'm actually not a fan of such gadgets. Love the MultiTouch though.
Before the iPhone came out, there were rumours around that a widescreen, touch-screen iPod was to hit the market. Fake iPod design concepts were everywhere, but none of them came close to being a iPhone lookalike, even with the Apple patent filings as seen on many, many tech sites. But that's all I really want. We have everything else from Japan. I love my phone and I love my iPod but I don't want both of them conjoined.
It'll be good, heck, great if Apple churned a iPhone-less iPod. Gimme, gimme, gimme!

Perth: Days Four and Five

Breakfasts and Lunches: Day Four and Five
Day Four - 19/01/2007
We woke up fast and went to an OUTLET MALL!! Cheap Stuff!! Had Breakfast at Harbour Town's Merchant Coffee Bistro. Good Old-fashioned Eggs and Bacon. Then we walked around, and around. Checked out EB Games. Scored 2 Franz Ferdinand CDs for A$10 at Dirt Cheap CDs (That's the store's name. No Foolin'). A$10!! That's S$12!! TWO CDs!!
Then we drove around and went for Generic stereotype Chinese food in a box for lunch. Cool... We then went shopping around the open mall near the hotel. I got a Wii bag. Yes, the one you can store a Wii in.
Day Five - 20/01/2007
Hungry Jacks for Breakfast. Breakfast Wrap again, though Heavier and more cheesy goodness. Slight shopping. Lunch at the Hotel's Italian-oriented restaurant. Risotto. mmm... Then finally, sadly... Souvenir shopping before departing to the airport for the trip home. It's been very very very fun. But every good thing must come to an end.

Perth: Day Three

Panorama: Kaili's Fish Market
Existence: 6716 days Feeling Prepped-up
I'm not even gonna say anything much. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Then we hit the Burswood Hotel and Casino for some nostalgia and over-the-age-of-18 gambling. I can finally enter the Casino!! No photos, though. Hotel policy. But I didn't gamble, yet. I mean, it was 4pm in the Afternoon. Then we went to the Wing Bo Chinese Restaurant for some award-winning stereotype cuisine. See what I mean? It's all food. We saw the tiny faraway Comet in the night sky. As seen on the news.

Perth: Day Two
Existence: 6715 days Feeling Well

(Kookaburra, Mountain-type Goats and Sleeping Koalas)
Then we headed for a Winery around Swan Valley. We went for the most economic winery, Jane Brooks. Great Luncheon. Mediterranean Food. Bread, Salads and Cheeses, along with a fabulous chicken pâté. And the Greatest Grape Juice ever. Also A$4 for one delicious, sugar-free, all-natural litre-bottle. Oh, goodness.Nothing much else, I guess. We had Dinner at Arirang, a Korean Barbecue Restaurant (Great food as well.) and hit the hay. I'll just edit this entry when I remember some more stuff.

Perth: Day One
Existence: 6714 days Feeling Nauseous

Panorama: Perth International Airport
Man, this morning's flight didn't do me very well. I watched, then listened to "Open Season" In-flight, before giving up 35 minutes into the movie and went to sleep at 2am (flight was 0115hrs) I think I woke up at 4am or something. Had breakfast. We landed at 7am. Then motion-sickness forced me to throw up in the plane. Went out of the plane to realise the chilling truth. The Weather was a Sunny 18°C. Got out of immigration with an illegal Snickers bar from the plane (Perth Quarantine Rules, see "Simpsons" Australia Episode), could have gotten fined. And, oh, shit. I didn't have roaming so my phone became a full-fledged 2 megapixel camera.
Dad forgot his Driver's Licence. So Winnie (she's my cousin, say 'hi') had to be our driver for the trip. Got our Hertz Rental and drove out of the Airport. The problem with roads in Perth is the amount of No Right Turns popping up here and there, so we had trouble getting to our hotel, The Criterion. But check-in was only at 2pm and it was noon. So, yeah we got some time to spend and we decided to start our vacation at AQWA (The AQuarium of Western Australia) which was a half-hour away. We got there to realise that my Dad's luggage was missing and left behind somewhere. Then we took the route back to the Airport for the good news. The bag was treated as a potential bomb and brought in for a thorough check by Airport Security. Phew. We then lugged ourselves back to AQWA as planned.

(AQWA, Jellyfish and Lunch)
AQWA is the biggest aquarium in Australia. We couldn't pass off as 2 adults and 4 children, so we paid and got in. Rather worth. Tanks of fishes and marine life. Right, so it wasn't exactly a bomb, but Lunch was Ab Fab. Our First Fish and Chips platters and other stuff. After a giddy ride "underwater" along a kilometre-long automatic path with a huge aquarium enclosed, we called it a day and headed back to the Hotel at 4pm.
The Criterion Hotel is some Heritage building converted into a well-to-do Hotel. Checked-in, freshened up and didn't go far for dinner at 8pm, which had a bright 5pm feel. Han's Cafe had some nice close-to-home cuisine. Then we walked around for a while to see 96% of the shops on the streets closed for the day (the shops close early on weekdays and stretch out a bit on the weekends). I saw Wii Boxes from an actual ebGames outlet. ebGames!! Walked for plenty-a-while and back to the Hotel.Oh and Burger King is called Hungry Jacks here for some Legal reason. Motion-sickness got the better of me. I gotta sleep now.

Perth: Day Minus-One.

Just moments away from the flight. The weather is fine. Looks like Perth will be great too. It's really late now. See you in Perth.

En Route, Aussie!
Yes! The Landing page is true! I am going on a trip!
Well, everything's charged up (well, my phone is still juicing up), I'm all packed (er... not exactly either) and I'm ready to go! I hope I can even have a internet connection for one single day at least. Armed with my Sony Ericsson, I'm geared up for the most photographic vacation ever!
This entry will start my "Perth" Holiday Series of Blog Entries. If I'm without an internet connection for the week, then I'll cram everything into blog entries with fake dates.
I'll be off. Flight is in a couple of hours. Miss me.

Brought to you by the Ministry of Sound.

I had a MOS card flyer lying around, so I trimmed it down and slashed it to fit the tablet space. Card thick, yes, and the card bulges the plastic cover out, but the tablet still reads the pen, so no harm done.

Agents are...
Existence: 6705 days Feeling CoolA worthy follow-up to Ouendan! I got my copy of Elite Beat Agents. The differences between EBA and Ouendan are very obvious. Level Selection is a sweet 3D globe compared to Ouendan's flat map. The Elite Beat Agents look more flexible than their Japanese counterparts. And a "Replay Save" function! Wow! Being more westernised, it somehow lacks the Japanese flair. But more features and more songs are nothing to complain about! But the Easy mode makes the player look dumb. I don't think we need a finger prodding our every move.
Agents are... GO!!

Dream Phone.
Existence: 6704 days Feeling SomethingI had that Sony Ericsson i-mode phone, but I didn't have i-mode on it because it was too damned expensive. So that relationship didn't work very well. Plus, it couldn't play Java games, only DoCoMo-Java (DoJa™) games. I swapped it for a Sony Ericsson K618i as an xmas thing. It looks like the K610i and it works like the K610i but it's design is totally different. It comes bundled with a 256MB M2 Card and Handsfree Earbuds while having more powerful speakers than the K610i. It's the perfect phone, with a few things to note. It's M1 exclusive, and I'm not an M1 subscriber, so we had to go for the no-contract deal. Now I'm living with the M1 K618i firmware and have to face 24 seconds of stupidity with a dumb MiWorld Mobile logo that shows up and drags the shut down time.
On a darker note, Puff-x.com is in danger or reaching it's memory quota of 50mb. I'll have to do something about that soon. I could switch to blogger's new Custom Domain publishing but it'll screw up my images. The Apocalypse drawth nigh when Man uses up his resources.

My First Booze.

New Year's Eve. Went for a seafood dinner before washing it all down with a pint of Brewerkz beer. I'm not a fan of beer and I guess I never will be. It goes down like water then the bitternes grabs your tounge and lingers down your throat when the liquid goes down. I'm a wuss. That was a 4.0% abv. I took about one-third of my pint before giving up. Perhaps I should stick to alcoholic beverages like i did last New Year's Eve. Good nachos though. Damn good nachos.
Happy 2007!
Happy New Year. My Countdown Timers say it all.
Major Blog Entry on yesterday night's events (just hours ago) will come in in the morning.
I'm gonna watch Star Wars III now. Meh.
