Back to school Classes!

First lessons today. Totally different experience (for now, I guess). It's so free. Freedom of expression. Moulded with clay for 3D Art Fundamentals. Had blindfolds on, then off. Crazy fun stuff.
Bushed. Good thing for Labour day tomorrow.

I choose Pokemans!
EXP 6816 days My name is Cristo, andI am a Pokemans Trainer.
Look, Cristo was the only (one of the) good names I could in a measly 7 character name, and Judacris doesn't sound good for trainer's name. I got my copy of Pokémon Diamond! Nothing strange. I've manhandled my share of Pokémon games from Red to Crystal to Emerald to Diamond. It's go friggin' awesome this one. Besides being on the DS, everything about it is very cool. The 3D graphics, the new features, the day-to-night transition, the new
Anyway. it's about 10pm on the dot now. Saturday. Leno. Then more Pokémon.

Re-building the Past
I present to you, Exhibits A, B and C.

Gas Transit (6594), Grid Trekkor (6812) and Crater Crawler (6885)
The above are rebuilt Lego Sets long unheard of shattered and scattered around my Lego brick stash. These sets hail from 1992, 1991 and 1988 respectively. I had little to no memory of these sets, but now I know.
It's all thanks to the Portals for Missing Manuals. Brickset.com and Peeron.com. Mystery Solved. Yes. I've been playing Legos.

Gone to/Back from Camp Radical.
As with the Matrix* Philosophy, Everything that has a Beginning has an End. Truly, this is one of those things that I didn't want to end, because it was to Camp Radical, the bestest orientation thingy I've ever been to. We were all (or soon became) happy campers. Going to this, cheering that, running around, jumping, screaming. I can't explain this. It's just so damn fun. FUN! The new mates I hung out with, us Design freshmen. But it ended, barely hours ago. I'm missing it bad.I just printed out my mess of a timetable. It's comprehendible, but it's just... messy! The Design School starts a week later than the rest of the Polytechnic so I'll be missing out on meeting my old friends and my new mates at Temasek. sigh.
I'll try to get a strip or two done up.
*By the way, TP's library has an extensive collection or reference and reading materials, including The Matrix Comics, both issues. Cool.

Solid Snake Papercraft

Considering this was to be my last off-day for so very long before my Freshmen Orientation tomorrow, I decided to do something I always wanted. I chanced upon "Snake in a Box" this morning on Kotaku.com. It's a Solid Snake papercraft. I'm a fan of MGS, but I don't play it much, though I watch the game being played. So why not? So I got it printed out and went into manual labour. Took me an hour and a half. End product (above, shown with comparative) looks good except for a few bad folds and gaps. Good thing I kept that cylinder-type container. I don't think it will like water very well.More Photos on my flickr, which only allows me to jam 3 flickr sets maximum. Damn.

Date Speculation! [UPDATED]
Date Speculation. D.S. DS. Nintendo DS. Bad joke. Here, I'd like to share the dates I'm watching for my killer list of DS games of '07. In best-fit chronological order, they are:
- Pokémon Diamond/Pearl - 22nd April (Next Week!)
- Simcity DS - 19th June
- The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - June 2007 or Q4 2007
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations - 25th September
(Hoping for a Japan import release with English Localisation to get and play before most of the rest of the world. ) - Sonic Rush Adventure - Fall 2007 (Yes!!)
- My Sims - Q4 2007
Goody.

en route: Temasek Polytechnic
In two weeks, I'll be heading back to a tertiary education institution (because it's not a school). Everything was successful. Application, interview, appeal and all. I'll be doing Interactive Media Design, which, I guess, is part of what I've been already doing for quite some time now, not that I'm perfect at it, don't get me wrong.
You'll notice the nametag at the top and the "polariods" at the friends list. I'm experimenting with CSS layers. I'll expect things to get screwy with certain, ahem, "Inferior Executables", but all is well on my end with Safari and Firefox. Enjoy.

Dot-S Mario Stop-motion
I took some time and went to do this using my Dot-S Mario Pixel Thingy. Took me an hour for the disassembly and assembly processes, creating this 3-framed animation of Mario Walking. The Puff-x.com watermark is to deter it's use as a stolen avatar. Sorry.

"'cause I'm a Mutha****ing T.M.N.T."

Donuts and a Great, great Kim Gary Hong Kong Dinner. All at, again, Vivocity.
Sorry, I had to. It's so good... I mean especially the French toast...
Also caught TMNT yesterday night. All the characters lost weight, and the ending calls for a sequel. Did I mention that we saw this at Vivocity with it's 11 rows and mega huge screen? I had a Funderful night.
