One Smashing Performance.
The play is rated NC16 for several reasons. Language, use of violence, scenes of torture, disturbing themes, drug use and semi-semi-partial nudity when Katurian takes off his pants. Thankfully, we don't see his bare ass.
All in all, very good play. Use of actual cigarettes, lighter fluid and fire. Impressive. Maybe I should start watching more plays.

I call your attention to VGCats #252. It made me laugh. Very much.
And it has been 10 years. More.
The Generation fascinated with the Pokémon cartoon has gone bored.

Rainfall at Zero degrees Celsius.
I've always said that the World will end as we know it if it snows in Singapore. Not being pessimistic, but rising everything prices and climate change may bring the apocalypse closer by the day.
They said it hailed in central parts of the country. HAIL! It doesn't hail here!
But, of course, we don't need freezing temperatures for it to hail, just freezing temperatures up above the sky and it can fall fast enough to avoid melting. The news says them hail was the size of a 5-cent coin. They also say that this last happened last July. End big hoo-ha.
Some say they want it to snow and that it will. Well, everyone, please read this blog entry once again from the top. Think, people. Is snow what we really want?
Cool photo here.

you'll see and say, 'that's a graniph.'

Why did I post this image?
I'm participating in graniph's tshirt design award.2 contest. Churned out a bunch of designs and sent it to Japan. They say there's no application fee, but you have to churn out the moolah and willpower to pay for postage (origin dependant). Thirty-eight dollars. Results in July, though. So, God's speed, lil' package.
Update: Package at Final destination. Joy!

Guitar Hero.DS, iPhone.SG?
One. The method of control for Guitar Hero DS, dubbed, "On Tour", has been announced. It's a special controller adapter that plugs into the GBA slot during gameplay. This controller is the size of the average fist. A strap clings on to your hand as your 4 fingers lay on the 4 fret buttons while your other hand strums on the touch screen. This alone was a 'ZOMG' to me. That thing looks wicked awesome and it'll make my list of Killer Games to Get in 2008. Songs will include, not limited to, Master tracks of Nirvana and OK Go. Master tracks, yes, but will the DS's speakers ruin the experience? Two. MacNN.com has an article that claims that Singtel has clinched the deal to be the exclusive telco for the iPhone locally. True or not, it'll not be until September 2008. Singtel? C'mon. I mean... c'mon... But I remain on my stand that I don't like my gadgets all-in-one. I keep my Phone, iPod and Game consoles separate (The iPod touch doesn't count).
Three. I got my tickets for Pillowman. Collection fee sponsored by Mastercard, I'm on my way!

Spy Hunter: Now with Pontiac G8
I love Spy Hunter. Mainly because I can never finish the game and such a game is a classic. I wonder how they did the live-action sequence.

End of Line. Printer.
It'll be replaced by a HP Photosmart... something purchased during the IT Show '08. This printer will render my scanner useless because a scanner/copier comes in-built. Ah, Technology.

Julian goes Theatre.
woot. "The Pillowman" is up for a second season. I missed it last December. This is my good chance to go watch a play like this. But, none in my family are even any bit interested, so I guess I'll be on my own.
I witnessed the demos of Patapon and echochrome. One, a fun Locoroco RTS Rhythm game, the other an artistic play on perspective. Both equally fun (echochrome, not so, because it's a really short demo).
Oh, and I unravelled the Mystery of St. Mystere. Professor Layton Story Mode completed, but I haven't got the smarts to solve all the puzzles. I'm looking forward to every Monday's new Puzzle.
Finally, I've changed the blog's default font size up one from 8pt. It's slightly larger now.
